Futures market is hinting at another hike next week
Hello:
Despite Chairman Bernanke's calming testimony last week regarding the possibility of skipping an interest rate hike at an upcoming FOMC meeting, the futures market is indicating a high probability of an interest rate hike of another quarter percent next week. With mortgage applications becoming fewer, a possible indication of a slowing real estate market, it could be that the first skipped hike might be as early as this summer.
