Back to Basics

Hello:

What is one of the basic, underlying principles of investing in equities?

It is looking for a profitable company at a very good price that is likely to be more profitable in the future.

The U.S. has good companies, at what may appear to be good prices, but the nagging question is, will these companies become more profitable in the future?

Once we get past the boom/bust gyrations of Wall Street, and look for the underlying fundamentals, it as clear as if we were to buy a partnership interest in the corner business. We are starting to see some good values.

Is it time to belly up to the buffet table of investments? Maybe it is time to nibble on some appetizers, for those who have a long term investment horizon. As always, we structure our recommendations on a case by case basis.

Have you invited your donors and their families on a tour of your facility recently? How better can they understand the difference their donations are making by supporting the mission of your organization?
