Yon Yuan Re-evaluation is a Yawn

Hello:

It appears that the Chinese Government gave a diplomatic re-evaluation to their currency, the Yuan. Now the Yuan (aka the renimbi) may float vs. a basket of currencies, however not the entire basket of currencies. Daily, the Chinese government can select which currency within the basket to which the Yuan will be tied. This might make imported goods more expensive to Americans in the future.
