Earnings up, Market flat?

Hello!

Second quarter earnings are starting to be announced. This might turn out to be the third consecutive quarter of overall earnings growth in excess of 20%. Yet the market is remaining in a somewhat narrow trading range due to uncertainty about future election results and possible terrorist attempts prior to the election.

With earnings in an uptrend and prices remaining flat, the US market is beginning to look a bit undervalued. Maybe this will create opportunity for a market rally toward the end of the summer?

Looking for volunteers for a one day project? My alumni association is looking for a community service project in Orange County.
