Clear the Deck for Tech!

Hello and Happy New Year:

We believe that this will be a fabulous year for innovation in domestic industry. Some sectors that we will monitor most closely are technology, biotech and entertainment. Starting tomorrow, the International Consumer Electronic Show opens in Las Vegas for five days of the latest in gadgetry. The Consumer Electronics Association estimates that 2005 was a record year for electronic gadgets, with approximately $126 byn in sales nationwide.

The Boomers start to turn 60 this year. The question we get from boomers is not "how soon can I retire?", but rather, "how soon can I quit my day job?". This might be an opportunity to increase the number of highly skilled volunteers for your organization.
