Grandpa, tell me about the '70's. Were they really the bad old days?

Well, we had a war fought all over world by individuals and it was called The Cold War.

Kind of like the War on Terrorism? What else?

We had skyrocketing gas prices and big cars.

Like SUV's? What else?

We had inflation and not much economic growth, which we called stagflation.

Just like now. Well, Grandpa, how did we get out of all that trouble?

Steven Jobs invented a personal computing device that started to catch on in the following decade and reduced the need for travel and fuel.

You mean you had an i-phone in the '80's?

Just as things changed in the early '80's, we believe that no trend lasts forever. We are monitoring potential future trends so that when the tide turns, our sails will be ready to help guide you and your portfolio onto friendlier seas. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
